Went detecting as Brooke got out if school yesterday. She was kind of down because I have been finding all of the old civil war buttons and she hadn't found any yet. Well what do u know she pooped this 1820 US Seminole Indian War button out and she had a smile from ear to ear! It is in way better condition than my US button. Hers is a cuff button and mine is the coat button and hers has the shank and mine doesn't. The photo looks way bigger than a cuff button but it is not.

Way cool congrats for you both, great memories are worth way more then what you can sell that stuff for. Tell your wife that I feel that the longer you hold on to your finds the more they will be worth. Would she sell all your stocks, bonds, mutual's and other investments?
