Lostlake,

What are the odds? I took this pic on the 9th when I found these 2 silver coins. I think your Barber is in slightly better condition than mine, but mine has a "D" on the back.
For anyone reading this that doesn't know, Lostlake and I hunt together more than occassionally.
Regards,
Jon Dickinson.

That is a coincidence, the odds would be better if I was finding silver like I was last year. Maybe we need to see what a numerologist has to say about this. I don't know why, but our spot (you know) seems to produce old coins in great condition. Many of the Indian Heads I have found there have been in outstanding shape. Nothing obvious to be found there anymore though. I spent a good 3 hours hunting it today with very little to show for it. The coins left are on edge or near trash.

No need to visit a numerologist, you're both lucky 1914 is 1+9+1+4 = 15 1+5=6 the 1918 1+9+1+8=19 1+10 = 10 1+0=1 now add the 2 together 6+1 = 7 :D My service bill is in the mail :laughing9:

That barber is in great shape too :icon_thumleft:

thank you for the reverse pic.. after looking at both sides of the 1914 barber I believe this has a good chance at being a au-50 grade

Here is a better pic of the Dime
