That was quite a story, now the question. Back in those days sealing a box containing all those items in glass seams almost impossible.

I would think a box could be placed inside a pickle jar or mason jar and it could be considered sealed in glass. We all know those darn mason jar lids will last forever.

Good point. The masons jars of the older variety with zinc ( gray ) lids did have white glass seals under the zinc lid. And some of the old commercial pickle jars were large but had metal lids with a rubber gasket. I have never seen one large enough to hold all that. Perhaps, several jars? Frank...
