I dug the 4 holed button first then decided to move to a spot I had intended on going to first , its so hard to walk to a spot without detecting along the way .
I finally made it across this road in the woods , more detecting can't remember what the readings on my atpro were but I pull out the flat button in the same hole
I see the point and pull it up out of the ground I was shocked , never before have I found an arrowhead , and you could see it was really worked , I am so excited to have it
plus all my items from yesterday .. need to keep working the area , would hope to find coin(s) IMG_2005.JPG

I've come across points walking through plowed fields, but have never found one digging up a target. Nice bonus find!

That's a dandy square nail, Jim. That means you're in the right area, since square nails weren't made after 1890. Keep up hunting!

Congrats on your first arrowhead. It looks like a nice one, & now you will be on the look out for them.
