We hit 2 spots today one was a old boyscout camp and one was a old school house foundation. At the boyscout field I found some wheat cents and a neckerchief slide and a 1798 2 Reale. ( It is a big field and have found george coppers there as well.) Ohh Ya and I found the play dime there as well. At the school house I found a 1923 Standing Liberty Quarter in real nice shape (made me happy dont find many of these) and the blue glass button came out with it. (I have never found a blue one only white) Then I found a nice grape leaf? silver charm eich I thought was pewter till I saw it said silver on back then I found the silver merc. Wich is a funny story. I got this awsome hit so I dig and when I clean the whole I hit it again with the detector and the hit is gone. Spent 3-5 minutes trying to find the hit. Got discouraged and gave up when I flipped the shovel over the dime was stuck to the back..lol Anyway I had a great time with fmerg and loved the locations..

PS. Fmerg I left my bottle that I found in your car. :'(

Great stuff!

Is that a knapsack hook in the bottom photo? :o

And it appears that the silver brooch you found has the date stamped in it in roman numerals. Does it say "MCML"? That's 1950. :)

Best wishes,

Buckles

Could I see a photo of the knapsack hook? LOL.

And yes, it does say Mexico. Dang. I thought it would be cool if it was dated. :)
