I think that finding a US plate by anyone would be a GREAT find How's the back look? Most of us will never find one of those and there are fewer that do. Job well done, and welcome to the site

The back has the 2 arrow hooks but the tongue is missing. I aint complaining lol

I have been fortunate enough to find 6 u.s buckles

The plate is nice...especially it's condition....but the find is the Whitworth. I would trade any of my plates for it, as I have never found one of those rare bullets before. Congrats, and welcome to T-net. I look forward to more great relic recoveries from ya!

Curious...Did you find the arrowheads in the hole with the metal?

no i picked the arrowheads up while i was walking along detecting, they seem to

be everywhere. lots of shavings too where they were making the arrowheads
