I have been out about 5 times metal detecting totaling about 8 hours and really love it. I'm not to good with my detector yet so i just dig all tones, it seems to be working.
I found a woman's Seiko watch on my very first dig in a playground- i was super exited and got hooked immediately.
I also found a national champion wrestling ring, it has a name and i found out which college it was from so i plan on calling the school tomorrow to help me with returning it because i have tried google, facebook and the phonebook and cant find the owner. Ill keep you updated when i find the guy and return it because I'm sure this ring means alot more to him than it does me.

You are doing extremely well for your first few times!!! Good luck on the ring return. That is about a $200 watch, I know because I lost one exactly like it but the band was all yellow goldtone. congrats!!

Here you go. Photos adjusted to web setting using MGI photosuite. Came with an older Sony digital camera.

Hope you find the ring's owner. Get a pic of that return, if you can. It'll certainly merit the Honorable Mention. Nice other finds too. Looks like a good hunt, overall.
