Greetings, been picking up a few rolls of pennies each time I visit a bank.
Got up to 16 rolls, & being detectorless for the last week or so, found time to take a look, got out my scale and loupe, comfy chair, & spent a pleasant evening with a bottle of Belgian ale.
Results: 12 WC's (6 in one roll)
14 1982 coppers
0 1983 coppers, (I hear they are out there)
1 1962 Rosie
27 % pre 1982
0 '69 '70, '72 '09 or '10 DD's.
All in All, Made for a Much nicer evening than Cable TV !!
Will be doing more of this with other denominations soon.
Best to You all, Great finds also, Herbie.

I try to do that a few times a week. Heck I am just sitting in front of the TV, might as well do something productive. I can usually breeze through a box ($25) worth in one evening. And yea, one beer usually turns into 3 or 4...

CRHing is a lot more fun than people would think. Especially when you find the goods. Sometimes it is very frustrating. I take it you metal detect quite a bit?? Nice profile pic by the way, that's sweet.
