Wow. Nice find. I've found a few large cents but I'm still looking ofr my first draped bust. Looks to be in great condition. Congratulations. There are several varieties of this year but with the condition it's in it might be worth as much as $100.00.... according to the 2008 Red Book.

IT CAME OUT OF THE GROUND ALMOST A BLACK, REALLY DARK BROWN COLOR. FIND OF A LIFETIME FOR ME.

DUDE, that is an awesome find! Not just for the age but the condition. I can't find as good looking a coin in a coin shop - unless it's priced in the hundreds of dollars. Hope you don't get jaded by your early sucess. ;) Welcome to TNET.

Now that's realy a nice coin.I hunt the woods and my oldest coins were found there.Im sure you'll find a lot more old coins there.Good luck on your future hunts and thanks for sharing.
