my first gold coin and its big

today on the way home from the local food pantry i volunteer at i came across an old filing cabinet someone tossed down the embankment i walked down to see if it was any good but it was rusted out on the top
as i opened the draw the side kinda fell apart leaving me holding the draw
anyway taped to the bottom was a 1947 gold 50 peso coin.
from there the day got better when i got home it was raining and my son eric (fisher2)
beged me to go back to a spot we just got permission for
so we grabed the saran warp and jumped into the car
hunted for about 2 1/2 hours
here is the finds from one of the best days detecting this year

that's ridiculous!
you did well to get out at all today with the weather.
i got out for some morels this evening after the rain stopped,
but i didn't find any gold coins taped to them.

I'm thinking you're just d**m lucky there! Very nice lucky gold, pretty nice silver spoon, and some really nice bells, too. I'm beginning to wonder what you'll find when you start to work at it!
