Iv'e been sick last couple days, I spent the entire day and night yesterday staying in the house resting. Around noon today I couldn't take it any more, I had to run down the st to my honey hole at the lake. I found the wheatie first (1956) then a few newer coins, then at the bottom of the hole on one side I heard a little sound that had changing numbers. It sounded very good, at first I thought it was deeper then figured it was falling through the holes in my scoop. My deus kept telling me it was the same depth which after about ten tries I knew it was small and falling through. Finally after about twenty attempts I seen a nickel first (1970) and in the same scoop I seen the gold earring cross. It was gleaming, I figured it was and is marked 14 K
Enjoy the pix

Let me know if anyone sees a pattern in the pix

Don't eat that Klondike bar. :P

Well done.

Ps...
Klondike bars are not the same as they used to be IMO... somewhere along the line the recipe changed.

Very sweet cross. Always great to come home with gold. As far as having smaller items slipping through your scoop, I understand completely, lol
Congratulations on your first Gold Cross

WTG Brad, congrats on your 1st gold cross. I am planning on mounting some 1/4 screening in my scoop. The holes in my scoop are barley small enough to keep dimes from passing through. I am also thinking of mount a small magnet or 2 in it.

Don't you hate it when they do that?! I noticed Pringles taste different too. A while ago I had some Oreos and they were really weird, not good at all. No worries, everything is fine- they turned out to be American Oreos. I love you Americans, but your Oreos stink haha!

Congrats on your gold cross, it's a beauty

Sweet first gold cross!
Its big for a stud earring.

Somebody dropped a load of klondike bars over the side at some point.

They change the taste of just about everything. Not much tastes the same anymore and its not for the better.

I'm almost at that point, just if I do that I have to use a float platform to dump the scoop instead of shaking it out. Thanks

Nice I'm trying water hunting also I have a hard time pin pointing!!!!
I like a small coil, takes a little getting used to. GL Thanks
