My First Gold Ring!

Hey everyone! Today I went metal detecting in my backyard again with my new Whites CoinMaster. I found another wheat penny, an old lock, and my first gold ring! It is only 10 K, but gold is gold!!! I was very surprised to see a gold ring down in the hole. I was in a very trashy area of my backyard, and the ring was under a root. It showed up as a zinc penny on the Whites CoinMaster. This ring looks similar to a Freemason ring I found earlier in the year in my front yard.

Way to go on your yard finds. I found my first gold ring and my second in my yard. One was a man's wedding band, the other a signature ring. Turned out that the signature ring was my wifes, and one of my daughters had been out playing while she was wearing it and lost it. I found it before my wife knew it was gone.
