My First Silver Spill!

Went out to the river today found 2 clad pennies and a clad quarter. Decided to head home. Got home and decided to detect the backyard again. Just moved a wood pile thought it would be a good place. Right off the bat i pull out a dime. Check the date its silver. Run my coil over the hole again and its just screaming! Im just pulling coin after coin. All silver! All charred and bent up about 5 inches down. Some were all stuck together. All in all i ended up getting 2 Mercury dimes 7 roosevelt dimes and 3 Washington Quarters. All dating between 44-57. Best find yet!

Thank you everyone for the feedback. It's great fun to see the excitement from you all. I'm going to go back out there this weekend and see what else i can find. "fingerd crossed" I will definitely ppst anything i find. Happy Hunting!

Great find. Found a little silver in my yard the other day its always nice finding it when you just walk out your door
