My last few outings (1886 farm house)
I have been granted access to a 1886 farm house, and a similar time frame language school. Both residential houses at the moment. Getting both houses ready for moving in the next year or so. 100 years in Canadian history has been lost in walls around and various places around the house. here are some interesting finds I did not search much with my medal detector as the amount of iron and accumulated metal fragments cover the who property. it is just a matter of moving the right rock out in the yard or old board in the barn.
as a kid I had access to the house I found ink wells, I still have the first one I found. And a liberty half dollar. I did not realize the amount of renovations that have happened to this house, and have uncovered the original front door, can't wait to get my machine on the ground in this location.
Ground finds - various 1930-75 pennies, CRAF pin, ink well, various coke bottles, liberty half-dollar,
In building - Cufflink?? military?. Singer van, Walt Disney plastic car and much more.
metal detecting test round -- women's shoe buckle, 1920-55 pennies, Canadas first made lipstick container, lots and lots of nails.
Can't wait to hit these properties again this week-end, here are my favorite finds of the last couple outings there.
