swimming holes here in Arkansas on our little river for a few years now and last week he found the oldest coin to date, out of a swimming hole. First he found an 185? seated liberty dime then about 6 ft away I heard him say " Blue money, BIG blue money " and it was. It was an 1853 seated Liberty half dollar. We find halves several times a year but thats the first one of any coin that was that old. The trip before I found an 1888 V nickel and thought I had done good until the 1853 came out of the water...d2

It's a class ring from the 60's will try to locate the owner/family for another week or so and if no luck into the scrap pile...d2
