After almost giving up on this area I changed some settings on the X70 and came across a 32 target but everywhere around it the VDI went nuts and I could barely pinpoint the 32 so screw it I dug anyway 1st nail then another then one more a PT in two pieces pulled out all within a 4-5" hole swept the coil again felt around a Little and out comes a 1926 wheatie! couldn't believe with all this trash that coin stuck out two of the nails were almost touching it So the 6" coil really did it's job yesterday! Grant Im sure bout the 192 something but the last year Is really dirty any suggestions how to clean it? Grant

Way to go on finding that wheat in all that trash! 8) I think Mirage cleans the wheats with ammonia on a q-tip? Might PM him and make sure, though. :)

Congrats on that find! Nana :)

Nice job sorting out the trash and finding the old wheat.
I clean my pennies with a warm peroxide soak.Check the cleaning and preservation heading for details.
