Congrats on that OD nickle and the rest of the silvers. For me it's never too hot to detect. I love to feel the sweat running down my face. Just need to stay hydrated and it's nice to hunt in some shady spots through out the day.

Small town banks with a lot of migrants they don't know they are rolling up Silver coins.1 roll had 13 silvers in it.I mostly just do halves easier for me to see.LOL

Congrats on the really nice finds. Those half dollars are sweet.

For me, the OD nickel is the prize. Every time I read a thread and it says "OD nickel", a little smile crosses my face, and I feel a bit of warmth in my heart. One day, our hero will prevail, and that one found silver nickel will alter the world as we know it.

Could of called it a war nickel but OD has become the term on this forum OD will get one soon if the stars and moon are aligned correctly LOL.

Found two more ninety percent halves today one was a 1945 walking liberty.
