we walked for about 3 hours found on e nice point and about 5 flakes by the river (which has caves and rock shelters everywhere on it.) but it got to cold and on the way back, i looked in the front field 2 rows in from the road, and a half mile from the river and flakes everywhere it looked like a miny flint ridge. i did not look long but these are some of the flakes i picked up in 5 minutes, it was not plowed. beans everywhere.

I built a sifter last year. It was late in the season and I only used it a few times to test it.
I admit it was fun, harder work than surface hunting though. I left it at one of my sites-
I hope to give it another shot when we get thawed out up here.--- Anyways good luck
with yours.
