My Silver at the Berg today

Day for me started off pretty much as I expected digging wheats and memorials. I wanted to get “a few” in some likely spots before specifically looking for silver. After a couple hours and Nate going on a silver rampage I decided it was time to switch tactics. I started “wandering” off in search of silver. My strain relief on the coil connector almost fell off and my headphones died. Also the detector was acting up – interference/ground mineralization. So by 1pm I was stinking up the place with the only one who hadn’t found silver yet. I resigned myself that if I got skunked then so be it. Well after fixing my problems and pulling back the sensitivity to 20 I luckily managed to find a few silver. :) So I will have a nice 1944 Merc to give away. ;D

Bob,
That Merc looks GREAT! I can't wait to win that sucker. ;D
Congrats on the silver. Ridley and I both had detectors that were freaking out today for some reason?
Way to go.

You did well with the silver!

Congratulations! Can I ask what machine you used (pulling sens back to 20?)

How does that help? Was it falsing too much? I was adjusting my sensitivity from 72 to 90 down to 30 on the DFX today. We had some kind of UFO jamming problem. It was like a steady pulse wave sounding a target in perfect rhythm all by itself through the DFX.

MM's Tesoro went nuts too! It seemed to get worse and worse as time went by.

Any thoughts?

I second that.

Hey!

Even through all the faults, you still managed to do amazing. Even though i have no idea what you meant when you said 'mineralization' and 'pulling back the sensitivity' that doesnt mean your finds werent fantastic. Keep up the sweet work!

;D ;D ;D :) :) :) :D :D :D

Nice silver and I don't think that place will ever be hunted out! Probably be paved over and made into a parking lot before that happens, LOL! Sounds like you will be doing some maintenance on the machine this week. Thanks for the contest and HH, Mike
