Onto the 7th house permission on this street and it didn`t disappoint, got two more Indians today a 1906 and a 1889, my oldest yet!

The first hole I dug today was the first Indian, nice way to start the day!

It was tough separating the signal on the first one, it was in the hole with three nails, I almost didn`t dig it but kept hearing a high tone
amongst all the beeps and boops the nails were making, it was really chattering!

Second Indian was found two feet out from a big maple tree,(they have been good to me) down about 6 inches under a big root.

I don`t know what the piece of jewelery is, maybe a hair clip?

Still got high hopes for this yard, only a third done with it on the first pass.:laughing7:

By the time you get onto your second permission, the rest of the neighborhood has heard about you,
and are quite ready for a talk...!
Good Luck and Happy Hunting...!

Sweet Finds!!

I like those old Indian head pennies. Nice saves. Congrats

I had a little time this morning so I went back and rescanned the area I found the Indians in yesterday, only today I decided to try Park 2 instead of Park 1, man what
a completely different set of tones! This Equinox 800 is a lot different from my other machine, but I`m liking the results.

Once I got the detector turned on I got a real weird signal, bouncing around between 21-29, wasn`t sure if it was a good target or not with all the darn nails I been
finding, but after swinging it for a bit I did get one tiny little high tone, so that was good enough for me, after digging the hole I pulled out another Indian, this time 1902.

In addition to all the nails I also found a tiny little steel ball, I`m thinking it may be a buckshot pellet?

Also found a 1917 wheat I missed yesterday too, if any other Equinox 800 owner wants to chime in, I`m all ears, I`m still trying to figure this thing out!:icon_scratch:20180927_130200.jpg20180927_130217.jpg

Nice job on the Indians, and congrats on your oldest. Your other item does look like a hair piece, but like another member mentioned, it may be a sash buckle. Pics of the back would help identify it.

For sure, a great day.Congrats :icon_thumright:
