I started scanning a very small public beach close to my house in southern Ohio at the crack of dawn today. This was my first intentional MD treasure hunt. Along with a lot of rusty nails, wire and a bobby pin etc. I was able to come home with a grand total of 12 cents of clad. Not a big haul but I'm proud as I'm using my garage sale purchased detector with no training or help (except what I've read here :laughing7: )
