I found my very first ring today. It was 4" - 5" deep next to a bench. Its kind of heavy for the size, so I am really hoping its stering silver. But I doubt it. It looks like a childs size.

Nothing like your first ring. Congrats, I hope it's silver.

B.

NIce stuff, looks like an ear ring. Sorry I missed your call we were huntin hard. Look for .925 (it may be really small) anywhere on the inside or the word sterling. You may find 10k, 14k, 18k or 24k(very rare) on the insides. If you find those then you found GOLD.
Check and let us know what she sez.

I looked all over it and can't find any numbers or writing. It must be fake >:(
Or maybe its too dirty to see.

J, if you want to see it, come to twice as nice tomorrow.

Way to dig em up! It is always a welcome surprise when the coin you are digging turns out to be a ring!

It might be costume, but it's still a ring and there's lots more to find! The next one is coming soon.

Looks like an common style of ear ring. I think it's likely silver also. I seem to think I've seen the same pic before; maybe on this site.

Congrats, that "ring" is awesome. But, the shape is a tad odd to my eyes as it looks more an "ear" ring?
Maybe someone else noticed too; I haven't read the other responses yet but will now.

Take care!

Yeah it has a thin piece that comes out to pierce something with. I am hoping ear and not nipple. But I guess it's still cool right?
