Mystery jewlery piece and a larg cent

I recently recovered these 2 items from 2 different homesteads long gone. The largie came out surprising well with just a peroxide bath. The jewlery item though is another story, i have only rinsed it with baking soda mixture. There appears to be some sort of steam ship on it. Ot shows very faintly. I not sure what type of metal it is. So im at a stand still on how to get some more detail from it

Good job I have yet to find a Large cent. A few weeks ago someone else posted a token with a steamship on it Ill see if I can find it Great hunt!!! Tommy
