I found this while metal detecting relics. It was an EYE find. I was sitting on a stump, choking down a Marlboro, when I pulled it from the mud. I've spent the last 7 hours researching it. Plz, correct me if I'm wrong...its a grinding stone!? I found it in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Near the Clinton River. My best pic, doesn't describe this object. The 'bowl' is grapefruit size and is symmetrical.

Thank you everybody!! Defiantly an uber cool find, but I feel like a cheater! One of the coolest thing I have found while metal detecting. Except...its not metal, and it was semi buried in the mud, up side down. The only reason I picked it up, is became it was semi square with a flat bottom. I thought it was part of a stone wall or something?

For those of us who like GPS stuff, this is where I found it.
