That first picture is awesome, Fossis! It makes you wonder how a tree can still survive with its roots exposed like that.
And the pic with the dew on the green leaves is very pretty, too! :thumbsup:

I miss squirrel huntin. I saw my grandpa knock a squirrel out of a cottonwood tree at a 100 yds. one time with a .22, open sights. I can shoot fair, but them old guys put me in the shade every time.

I just take my Grandsons out & teach them, I usually just leave them be.
The 'old timers' had to get good at shooting, the ammo was so hard to come by, & young boys could do almost as well with a rock or slingshot.
One old deer hunter was asked once how many deer he had shot at in his time, he answered 600 or so, when asked how many he killed he said: 600, I mean to kill them when I shoot.
I remember him walking in the woods with an old 'roan horse' with burlap bags tied on it's feet to muffle the noise while he hunted turkey, that was in the 50's.
