Hey guys, my brother and I got out for a couple of hours today at an old camp near our house. Found 9 wheats altogether the only older/significant dates being 1914-s, and 1919. (If only it had been a 1914-D as I originally thought argh!!!). This marks 36 wheats this year and no silver coins, haha oh well I guess I'll take it. Anyways also found 3 old tootsie toy cars (does anyone know much about these?). Also I would love some help Iding the token, it is the same size as a WA state tax token and same weight, but the wording isn't in the same format. I'm wondering if they made several different kinds of these tokens? Anyways any help is much appreciated, and I will post if I find anything worthwhile tomorrow while hunting with detectingfreak and juju. Until then, have fun everyone!

Wish I could be of help with the token. It doesn't look like a tax token. Although there are a ton of aluminum tokens out there.

That's a really cool firetruck. I find a lot of tootsie toy cars too. I always look on ebay to get dates and reasonable value. There is a ton of them on there. There are 2 different Wa state tax tokens that I've seen. However, they both have the hole in the middle, just a little different wording. The token you have doesn't look like a tax token to me.

Nice wheat pennies. The tax token is a neat find. I believe they made more than one type of token. Try google.

Nice finds you got there.

9 Wheats and no silver. I hate those days. It's nice to sqeeeze out one silver with that many wheats. I used the dfx for a long time. I will give you a few tips. Take the eeprom high pro program. Make these changes. Thresh at 10 ac at max 85. Tone at 200. Sweep speed at 11 7 or 1. But you gotta go slower.

Accep rej -40 through plus 95. Tone id on. Best data on. Recovery speed at 28. Pre amp at 4. I guarantee if you stick with these changes you'll find deep silver. Get a super 12 or 1400 dd. Finds will double for you. If you get into trouble take the sence and gain down just a little.

Good Luck

Jer
