I was invited to hunt a old homesite by a fellow detectorist and found what appears maybe to be a very old broach minus the pin which on the back appears to have broken off. It was about 5" deep using the installed basic 1 program.

Thanks folks. Appears to be copper rather than anything else. Has the green discoloration similar to that of copper I have seen and is stamped and light. No rust and had been underground I would estimate several decades due to the ground never being turned in many a years and the item was 5" deep roughly.
