Neatest find yet..I can't seem to find silver but ill take this all day

When I found it I wasn't quit sure what it was. I googled it when I got home and Essex was a car introduced in 1919. from the pictures I found it looks like it sat on the front/grill of the car. I thought it was in pretty good shape and still had nice color to it. I hope the pictures show up big enough

Someone restoring that kind of car would pay top dollar to have that. Look on Ebay and see if there is any on there.
