Hi Everyone,

I need to make a design modification to my Garrett AT Pro.

Specifically, I cannot get the shaft of the Metal Detector to compress down short enough. I would like to get it to fit in a backpack without having anything sticking out of the top.

Here is a link to the AT Pro on the Garrett website.

Garrett AT Pro Metal Detector | Manufacturer

I need the metal detector to shorten down to about 2.5 feet in length when being carried.

I could buy a new detector shaft and have it modified somehow.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Patrick

Sounds like you need a MARS MD Shaft.
