is 2007 the last year they made kennedy halves or are they making 2008??
thanks for help
just found 2007 p
also need certain halves to finish books

AFAIK the Mint has no plans to stop making halves. The '08s won't start production for another month or so I believe.

The U.S. Mint online site says they started sales for the '08 Kennedy half bags and two roll sets on January 17th. It will probably be a while before we start seeing them in circulated rolls though.
