I have no idea on the Chines coin. ??? But the one titled Morgan is not a Morgan Dollar, rather it is a "one ounce silver round". But is it silver? To me, it has the look of a cast piece in a base metal. Others will be along.

Can you weigh the "coins" and perform a specific gravity test?

Ant Welcome to T-Net.

I believe they are both cast base metal counterfeits. Can't be positive but they don't look right at all. Hope you didn't pay much!

The genuine Kirin dollar coins minted 1894-1911 weighs 26.1 to 27 grams and contain .7500 to .7814 of an ounce of silver. Most counterfeits weigh up light, are grayish, may look cleaned or antiqued and may have a grainy surface. Weighing it is usually the best telltale of genuinity.

weigh them --silver has a certain wieght to it --also magnet check em --silver is NOT magnetic --if it has a base matel core with a silver plating -- a fake it will stick often times .

Here's a better picture of the coin.
It doesn't stick to a magnet.

Look at the rim. Are the groves spaced evenly? If not They could be fake. Also do you know that silver will not stick to a magnet.
