NEED HELP FOR SIGNS

Hello everyone,
I came across these 2 marked stones,
I wasn't looking for any treasure there and have no info that might be one, But I do know that a lot of mining was taking place in that general area, Can anyone assist for this intrepetation??
These 2 stones are 2 feet apart and half was burried.

When the settlers traveled out west, they sometimes marked a stone or tree when they passed. many have been found over the years. That's what this one appears to be. T.H.E. is probably initials, rather than the word "The".
Your other pic seems to be something quite different. try Mike Picketts site for some interpretation of symbols. Treasure hunters university dot com, I believe, or do a search.

All these marking have been hammered on if that make any sence.

Where did you find this rock? there could be a treasure nearby with the reading that I have done where was it

Hi,
Did you see the markings on both rocks?
They both located right next to each other a foot apart,
This area have been known as mining area close to Yuma Arizona, Once you cross the Colorado river on the California side.
