New to the site and happy to be here. I found a spherical stone a while back on a small island beach on the southern end of the Delmarva peninsula. Thats about all the context I have. I have pictures which are attached. There are a few gouges and it isn't perfectly round. It also has two high spots that seem to be some sort of harder material. This makes me think that I could be a stone cannonball. Opinions? Questions that I missed and might help?
The card in the picture is the size of a credit or debit card. The second picture shows the high spot.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
