I found these today, but I cannot tell what the completely worn out silver coin is. I can only read the "cent" on the back. Also is other a token or a Japan coin or?? And help would be appreciated. 20160416_201948-1.jpg 20160416_202144-1.jpg 20160416_202527-1.jpg 20160416_202819-1.jpg 20160416_203056-1.jpg 20160416_203109-1.jpg 20160416_203134-1-1.jpg 20160416_203134-1.jpg 20160416_203144-1.jpg

Aluminum coin is a Japanese Yen, Year 40 (1965). The silver coin might be a France 50 Centimes piece from 1964-9. Nice finds.

Wow, thanks to david680, for leading me to the 50 centimes 1964.... and now I have determined it is exactly a 50 centimes, but 100 years earlier at 1866! The letter positioning, the font, the line above "CEN"... it is all there! Awesome. This is my oldest find yet. Here are the pics showing the match.
