You need to use an image editing application... something like PhotoShop.

if you have an edit feature, you can click edit, then, stretch or skew, it should send you to a resizing screen marked out using percentage

I do have an edit feature but it doesn't give me a stretch or skew option. It is a really old system, maybe it just can't do it? Tried using photobucket but for some reason it won't let me upload pictures at all

You can download a free trial of a program that works great. The program is called "Image Well". You drag your photo into the Image Well Icon and size it accordingly. Then you drag the photo out of the well and into the folder you want to use.

Cam9457,

What kind of system are you running?
Do you have windows XP or newer?
If so Look to the left after you highlight the picture,
In your blue windows find the link that says "Email this file" and click on it.
a box will appear that asks reduce in size or keep original size. Click on reduce in size.

when the wizard gets done doing it's thing for you,
put your address in the send to box and send.
The picture you get in your in-box will be reduced to 20% of the original.
It wil be just right for posting.

I sure hope this helps. and it is so easy even I can do it.
LOL

Hi Cam the way i do it, is too check the properties of the photo
which will tell you how big the photo is in Kilobytes, the maximum
size for useage on Tnet is 256kb.

Example:

your photo propeties shows you picture is 312kb take that number
and divide it into 256kb which is the max. for Tnet

256kb / 312kb = 82% now round that number down to 80%
of the original size of the photo in kilobytes

312 X 80% = 249kb

In the windows paint program there is a Image like button & it
links down to another pop up that shows Stretch / Skew when
you click it a box opens and thats where I enter the percentage
in the vertical & horizontal boxes and click the OK button which
will shrink your original photo then you have to save it under what
every name you wish then your have it read too post.

Please note that the DEFAULT for Tnet is too post your photo to
the LEFT hand side of the page, and yes i have figured out howto
move it around here on Tnet.
