need help urgent think I found my new detector

as you know I havent a metal detector at present found this one good price considering its make bit worried about its condition would you buy it.

The area I want to search is beach mainly wet and dry I've heard the minelab are good machines. Although I will have the money to buy one in better condition in a few months cant help feeling I should go with this.

Heya strike it rich,
First, I dont know anything about Minelabs. But, I did read a post in another forum that this is a good machine,however, Minelab no longer supports it. The poster stated his main chip was bad and Minelab no longer has parts for this machine. You can check it out at the Finds forums.
