I can't find this one in the current TX catalogs, and it is not in my maverick token listings, so will contact the TX token guys to see what they say. I find a Joseph Macha as a bartender in a saloon in Hallettsville in Lavaca County in 1910. There are quite a few tokens known from the famous Buckhorn Saloon in San Antonio. I'll post what I find. Where was this one found?

Okay, I re-checked the Lavaca County record and he is in Shiner, not Hallettsville. The TX guys agree and have directory listings of Joe Macha in Shiner as a saloon-keeper in 1905, 1910, and 1914. I see in the TX catalog that there also was an Aransas Pass Saloon in Shiner circa 1896-98 with H. F. Ellinghausen as proprietor. The TX Death records show that Joe Macha died in 1919.

Hi Joe i found the token next to a house foundation
located between Tilden & Laredo, Tx. out in the
middle of Nowhere dang near.

Which had caught on fire back back in the 30's
according to the local property owners.
