Need help with identifying

These were found by my girlfriend's dad out on Sandy Beach, one of the islands out on Lake Murray. I know they're confederate coins, she thinks that they're a gold half dollar and a gold twenty dollar but I think she might be stretching a little. Could they be reproductions or could they just be the real thing? I'm not getting my hopes up until I hear some feedback from y'all and he takes them to get looked at.

They are fantasy pieces often sold at souvenir shops in historic areas. Interesting to find though.

If it was a real gold coin, it wouldn't be corroded like those are.
