Need help with this scale....

I recently picked up this scale at a yard sale for 3.00 .. It is by Landers Frank & Clark.... Looks to have been made for a butcher since it has sharp hooks,but not sure...I've seen others on Ebay, but none like this one...I hope someone can help me out ...thx image.jpg

I can't tell you much. It was made by Landers, Frary & Clark. It was probably made prior to 1900 when they added the "Universal" name to their products. It's obviously for industrial use since it has a 200 lb capacity. The double meat hooks may be original. It almost looks as if it could be changed out for a single hook though. Does it? If not, then probably original. Probably used in a pork processing plant. Here is a list of 255 patents for their spring scales, feel free to see if anything matches-
