Need ID military eagle coat button w/gold gilt

Found this at a park yesterday down deep. Wouldn't think it's CW era cause of the area I'm in but it has that look. Can't make out the back mark to research it. Any help would be appreciated

I think they called that a "chicken eagle" - ones ive found similar - are post CW- later 1800s
hopefully an expert can give more insight

Post civil war chicken eagle button maybe about 1880s! Way cool!
