NEED INFO: I am going to Vero Beach, Fl taking my MXT, fishing & snorkling gear.

I am looking for information on treasure hunting in the area. I will be there for apx 1 week. I will be using a White's MXT and could use any info from an experienced MXT user on settings for the area. Can you drive on the beaches there? Do you have to purchase a beach pass or anything like that? I would really appreciate any info that I can get.
