I found this button today while hunting for musket balls today at a favorite Rev war site. I know it's not Rev war but can anyone tell me more or anything about it? My camera is terrible so the pics aren't that great but the front says "A E F 37 DIV.". I do have the pin for the back to but it broke off in the field. Thanks in advance for any help!

Well, I know absolutely nothing about buttons, however I will offer up a very amateur opinion. AEF could possibly stand for American Expeditionary Forces, as I know that in Canada, we had the CEF (Canadian Expeditionary Forces). 37 DIV would then, I assume, stand for 37th Division. As for the time period, I would say either WWI or WW2.
