It's really hard to tell just what culture or what age some knifes are because all cultures used them. Unless it has a heavily ground base or is found a culture specific site, like a Hopewell, Adena, or Ft Ancient site it's kind of hard to date them. Sometimes you can tell by the flaking styles and whether the material is heat treated or not(paleo didn't heat treat).

I have seen a few books put out that were knife specific though, so you might to check on one of those.
