Needing Info

Has anybody ever heard of a ghost town called Owl, Ok. I was hoping to find some more information on the people who lived there. It was a township in the early 1900's even had a Post Office. Now it is just sits in ruins. I believe it is owned by one person and I am hunting that down now. Any info would be great.

Heard of Hoot Owl, up in the Cherokee Nation in what is now Mayes County. Nothin much remarkable happened there that I ever heard of. If that's the right locaction, Mayes County probably has an historical society and you could check with them.
