Well I finally did it! I found my first Seated Liberty Half Dollar! After 25 years in the hobby I finally dug one! It's dated 1854 with a New Orleans mint mark! Also dug out a silver dime that was damaged by a lawn mower. We hunted the back end of a very obscure park not many people know about. I hunted it all day with my hunting partner Dick. Seated liberty half was only 3 or 4 inches deep, when I first saw it I thought it might be a clad Kennedy half! Boy was I wrong!
