I was wondering about bubbles when the rocks cooled. I've never seen rocks like what you got, thanks for posting. Maybe well learn something

Try posting over on the Fossils forum and see what they have to say. Looks like fossil imprints to me too :dontknow: Yakker

Not a fossil. Looks to be chalcedony, the white portion, with nodules of possibly agate inside it. Hard to say what formed first. Definitely unusual though ;)

It does look like quartz, but the roundish stuff, could be limonite? Do a streak test.
