Stopped at an old home demo site last night and tonight after work. The lot was rough graded and full of debris but I managed to pull a few goodies.Found several wheats including a 1910,1911, and a 19??-s.The "s" was a bummer cause it really looks like an oldie.Found a 1919 Buffalo, a 8 indian, a copper compact,a silver over copper ladies dress buckle,an aluminum Calvert whisky label, and lots of whatzits. The whole time I was ,of course thinking of the silver I was going to find, and with the sun down and the mosquitos knawing at the back of my neck the IDX sounded off the umpteenth 50 cent signal.I dug into the soft clay expecting another ball jar lid but to my amazement, out pops a large silver! It was too dark to see what it was so I stuck it in my pouch, swept the local area again and headed for the truck.Upon getting home and rinsing off my finds I discover that my "large silver" isnt a silver at all, but rather a plate over brass Lucky Lindbergh coin..First New York to Paris nonstop...1927.Kinda cool find even though I had my hopes on a silver.Sorry..sorry...sorry....no pics this time.My wife headed up north for the weekend and it appears she borrowed my camera. If anyone is interested I could post pics tomorrow....Best of luck to eveyone....Joe
