Got out too a new beach park too do a quick recon and detecting in. Finds where as usual for a beach this time of year:

10,000,000 pull tabs
7,000,000 bottle caps
not so usual finds:
Boat pin for wooden boats last used in the bay back in early 70's
and:

1978 quarter that I will post here.

Finally this is the last time I shall visit the park. The person I found the out about the boat pin from happened too be a park ranger. No detecting allowed on this beach. So I will try too hit the regular beaches tomorrow and will hopefully be posting many more finds.

Till then HH!

Don't you hate when that happens? It frustrates the heck out of me and takes the wind right out of my sails. >:( Hey at least you can cross that one off the list and concentrate on more productive spots. That's the way I see it anyway.
Keep on diggin'.....
