New beginner prospecting the mountains

Hello everyone, I am starting my first year searching for gold and other precious metals and don't know as much as I should about it.. I am glad to have found this site to learn more from all the experts and other beginners out there.. I have been doing seismic geophysical exploration for 13 years now for gas and oil, potash, coal etc. for an Alberta based business and I love exploring and finding new places and things these are some samples I found
