I'm new to treasure hunting forums but not new to metal detecting. I've been metal detecting since 1976 and have been mainly a White's and Garrett fan (mostly White's) all that time. I'm retired Army and have detected at most of the places I've been stationed. I now have a Garrett ACE 350 (for tag-alongs) and a Garrett AT Pro. I currently live in Michigan. I moved here from Alaska a few years back (an insane move on my part). I'm really loving learning my AT Pro. I consider every find a valuable find for they help me learn more of what my detector is trying to tell me. I met a fellow detectorist, while I was hunting a fairgrounds, who informed me of this site. I'm loving reading all the posts.

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Michigan for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.
